Thunderstorm Socks

I designed these socks thinking of the beautiful lightnings that light up the night during the storm. I tried to replicate their zigzagging from the sky to the ground.
I love stormy nights and I really had a lot of fun imagining and working these socks.
I hope you like them too!
Sizes
XS (56 sts), S (60 sts), M (64 sts), L (68 sts).
Materials
Piratenwolle Handdyed Sockwool (100 g, 420 m/230, 75% wool/25% polyamide): approx. 50 (56, 62, 70) gr of fingering yarn, col. A500.
Needles: 2.5 mm US 1 80 cm 32” or longer circular needle, or dpns set. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
Other: 1 Stitch marker if you want to mark the BOR, Tapestry needle, Scissors.
Gauge
28 sts and 36 rnds = 10 cm 4” in Stockinette Stitch.

The socks are worked from toe-up using magic loop

Ho disegnato queste calze pensando ai bellissimi lampi che illuminano la note durante la tempesta. Ho provato a replicare il loro zigzagare dal cielo alla terra.
Adoro le notti di tempesta e mi sono divertita molto ad immaginare e a lavorare queste calze. Spero piacciano anche a voi!

Ferri: circolari da 2.5 mm US 1 con cavo da 80 cm 32” o più lungo, oppure set di ferri a doppia punta. Aggiustare la misura dei ferri se necessario ad ottenere il campione corretto.
Altro: 1 marcapunto per segnare l’inizio del giro, ago da lana, forbici.
Campione
28 m e 36 giri = 10 cm 4” a Maglia Rasata.
Note
Le calze sono lavorate toe-up, quindi partendo dalla punta e usando la tecnica del magic loop.
