This shawl is made in an entrelac construction starting with a single square in one corner of the shawl. Tiers are added to the shawl to ahcieve the desired length. These sqares are joined as you go, with the body of the shawl knit in 1 piece. A knit on edging completed the bottom edges, and an optional simple crochet edging is used on the sides.
The sample was done in laceweight handspun, but any laceweight yarn can be used.
