Tica is made top down. It has an exact fit on the given bust measurements. However some cottons may stretch a bit so it will not have a super tight fit. Have a good look at which bust measurement fits you best to be certain you make the right size. Depending on the brand of cotton results may differ slightly as some cottons stretch more than others. I will give options for waist shaping. The length can easily be adjusted, see measurements for the total length (I made my top a bit shorter). For the mosaic part I use the overlay technique. The pattern has a written description with pictures and links to video tutorials to help make things clear.

Yarn: Xenos cotton (125 m/ 50 gr, 137 yd/ 1.76 ounces, 100% cotton) or similar Sport/Fingering weight with which gauge can be obtained.
Yarn sub: Scheepjes Catona, Durable Coral, Schachenmayr Catania, Knit Picks Comfy Sport.
Yarn amount:
Color A (Bordeaux red): 3(3-3-3-4-4)(4-4-5-5-5) skeins or 250(270-300-320-360-390)(420-450-510-550-580) m/ 280(300-330-350-400-430)(460-500-560-600-640) yards. When you want to make the top longer you will need more of color A. For calculated length see measurements on pg 2.
Color B (white): 1(1-1-1-1-2)(2-2-2-2-2) skein or 100(105-110-115-120-125)(130-135-150-155-160) m/ 110(115-120-130-135-140) (145-150-165-170-175) yards.
Color C (black): 1(1-1-1-1-1)(1-1-1-2-2) skein or 80(85-85-90-95-100)(105-110-120-125-130) m/ 90(95-95-100-105-110)(115-120-135-140-145) yards.

Crochet hook: 3.5 mm (US E-4).

Tica wordt van boven naar beneden gehaakt. Hij valt aansluitend bij de borst, de uiteindelijke afmeting is gelijk aan de gegeven borstomtrek. Kijk voor de juiste maat even goed welke borstomtrek het beste bij jou past. Afhankelijk van de rekbaarheid van het gebruikte garen kan het resultaat verschillen. Ik geef opties om de taille te accentueren. De lengte is eenvoudig aan te passen, zie totale lengte bij afmetingen (ik heb mijn top iets korter gemaakt). Voor het mozaïek gedeelte gebruik ik de overlay techniek. Het patroon bevat een gedetailleerde uitleg met foto’s en links naar video tutorials.

Garen: Xenos katoen (125 m/ 50 gr, 100% katoen) of vergelijkbaar Sport/ Fingering gewicht waarmee de steekverhouding kan worden verkregen.
Garen alternatieven: Scheepjes Catona, Durable Coral, Lammy Rio, Zeeman Ella, Schachenmayr Catania.
Hoeveelheid garen:
Kleur A (Bordeaux rood): 3(3-3-3-4-4)(4-4-5-5-5) bollen of 250(270-300-320-360-390)(420-450-510-550-580) m. Wanneer je de top langer/ korter wil maken heb je meer/ minder nodig van kleur A. Zie de berekende lengte op pag 2.
Kleur B (wit): 1(1-1-1-1-2)(2-2-2-2-2) bollen of 100(105-110-115-120-125)(130-135-150-155-160) m.
Kleur C (zwart): 1(1-1-1-1-1)(1-1-1-2-2) bollen of 80(85-85-90-95-100)(105-110-120-125-130) m.
