Tickle Me Scarf
Here you have 2 patterns in one. This fun pattern can either be a warm winter scarf knit in aran to light chunky yarn, or is can be an elegant accent piece knit in a fingering or sport weight yarn.
The construction is basic seed stitch with a twist. You do need to know how to perform the knitted cast on for this pattern.
For the lighter weight yarn you will add size 8 seed beads for accent. It is important that you use Japanese made seed beads for this pattern as Czech made seed beads have smaller holes.
The heavier weight scarf pictured was made with a yarn that is sadly no longer available. It was done with a marled yarn that had subtle color shading for interest. It can be just as beautiful in a solid yarn such as the Miski suggested.
