This pullover is an expression of my desire to get past winter and back to my favourite places by the ocean!

The Tidal Bore-Mascaret pullover takes its inspiration from a traditional Chinese lace pattern, expanded downward to create a dynamic, rippled surface. This energetic pattern reminds me of the Bay of Fundy’s tidal bore (mascaret) as it rounds the bend of the Petitcodiac River at Moncton (NB, Canada), propelling itself with much splash and noise up the muddy channels along its course.

The soft, gentle drape of this pullover, with its full yoke, ¾-length sleeves, and hem with side slits, combines relaxed comfort with elegance - perfect for any special occasion!

Construction
The pullover is worked top-down and seamlessly on circular needles. The yoke is separated at the underarms, and the lower body and sleeves are continued separately. The body is separated at the lower border for side slits, with the front and back hems each worked flat. The pattern contains a schematic and sizing table, and a chart for the lace pattern with written instructions for the repeat.
