Inspired by a summer vacation to Acadia National Park & Bar Harbor, Maine, this shawl design was created while watching the ocean tides move in & out each day against Acadia’s granite cliffs.

Although the DK version was released with Laine and Lotus Fiber Co yarn in mind, you could use any beautiful hand-dyed hanks in your stash, either intentionally picking colors to fade into each other flawlessly, or just using what ever color variations you love! With so much possibility for color variations, its easy to create a one-of-a kind shawl, tailored just to you!

3 skeins of Laine and Lotus DK (245yds/100grams each) or any DK weight yarns of your choosing (~ 735 yds total)
