Tidal Shawl
by Amanda Reed
Discontinued.
This digital pattern is no longer available online.
One of my New Year’s resolutions was to challenge myself by making more intricate triangle shawl designs. As you can see I accomplished my goal. This shawl features a beautiful cable design and a simple ribbed edge. The repeat is easy to memorize. There are written and charted instructions. All stitches are explained in the pattern notes.
Materials
One skein Stroll Tonal Sock Yarn in Pacific 462 yards (100 grams)
Size US 5 (3.75 mm) 24 inch (60 cm) circular needle
One size US 5 (3.75 mm) double pointed needle or cable needle
4 stitch markers
Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
Blocking mats and blocking pins if desired
This shawl can easily be made larger or smaller by doing more or less pattern repeats.
