This stole, worked on the bias in a Lace Garter Stitch pattern, reflects the constant movement of tidal water. The gently ruffled ends, streaming outwards, represent the melding of river and ocean.

The bias patterning allows the stole to drape beautifully and can be easily converted into a wrap.

Two versions are given in the pattern: as a scarf and as a full-sized stole.
