The Tidal Wave Beanie is a textured design in continuation with my original Tidal pattern. Its a great Fall and Winter knit that comes in two size options; Child/Tween and Youth/Adult.

Required Tools:
US Size 11/8mm, 16” Circular Needles and
US Size 13/9mm, 16” Circular Needles (also DPN’s in same size to close your beanie)
US Size 15/10mm, 16” Circular Needles (preference only for tight knitters sizing up on body)

Yarn:
90-125g Super Bulky #6 depending on chosen size (Malabrigo Rasta or equivalent recommended)

Pattern is worked in the round using circular needles from the bottom up.

Included in the instructions is a list of supplies needed and step by step details including pictures on how to create the toque. Knitters should have an understanding of the following abbreviations:

CO – Cast On
SM – Stitch Marker
ST – Stitch(es)
SL ST – Slip Stitch(es)
Rd - Round
K – Knit
P – Purl
KFB - Knit Front Back
RT – Right Twist (see Pattern Notes)
K2TOG – Knit 2 Stitches Together
DPN – Double Pointed Needle(s)
