Hat is a slouchy beret style, scarf is nice and wide. Honeycomb cables and a garter stitch backdrop keep the knit interesting.

Hat: 7 (7.5)” long and 14-20 (16-22)” circumference

Scarf: 5 (6)” wide and 43 (46)” long without pom-poms

Yarn: Berroco Vintage Worsted (217yds/100g, 52% acrylic, 40% wool, 8% nylon)
1 skein each:
A - 5166 Sakura
B – 5105 Oatmeal
C – 5161 Magenta

Needles: US 6 (4mm) 16” circulars, US 8 (5mm) 16” circulars, double points, and straights if desired

Stitch Marker, Pom-pom maker or large fork, tapestry needle

Gauge: 18 sts and 26 rows – 4” in stockinette on larger needles
