The hat has quite a lot of stretch in it so can comfortably fit anyone from a 20inch/52cm head right up to a 24/60.

The pattern includes a link to a long Tail Tubular cast on which will be beneficial to anyone knitting hats as it provides a super stretchy edge which helps the hat fit such a wide size span.

The pattern shows a bought pompom but you could easily substitute a made pompom to match, or contrast with, the hat.
