MATERIALS
• Fingering Weight (#1) Yarn. I used approx. 300 yards of Forbidden Fiber Co. in Fortitude Yarn (Sultan’s Daughter – Aladdin Collection), 100% Superwash Merino, Approx 435 yards/100 grams
• Crochet Hook I | 5.5 mm
• Darning Needle
• Scissors
• Stitch Markers
• Tape Measure

GAUGE: 5 sts x 5 rounds = 1 Inch (blocked)

FINISHED MEASUREMENT: Approximately 58 (length) X 3.25 (width - at its widest part) inches

STITCHES AND ABBREVIATIONS | US Terminology
Ch(s) – Chain(s)
MR – Magic Ring
Rep – Repeat
PM – Place Marker
Sl St(s) – Slip Stitch(es)
CSSC – Cross Stitch Single Crochet – insert hook in the indicated st, yarn under, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 2 loops.
CSSC2Tog – insert hook in the indicated st, yarn under, pull up a loop, insert hook in the next st, yarn under, pull up a loop, yarn over, pull through 3 loops.

NOTES

  1. Read the pattern carefully before starting.
  2. This pattern is worked in the round - in a very long tube that will be flattened and blocked at the end to form the necktie. Do not join rounds unless otherwise stated. Use a stitch marker to mark the beginning of the round and move as work progresses.
