The Peruvian Tweed yarn is soft and rustic, a good match for the highly textured handspun mohair locks. I held it double to acheive a gauge of 5 sts per inch. Other yarns are, of course, equally interesting. Look for maximum contrast between the main yarn and the contrasting yarn used in the ridges. About 50 yards are required for the textured hand spun yarn.
