Tiger crochet pattern

This measures about 11cm tall and 21cm in length, when made with double knit yarn or about 12cm tall and 24cm in length, when made with aran yarn.
When I make this Tiger I use the Spice, Black and White shades of Stylecraft yarn, but any orange colour would work with Black and White.

Materials

For the smaller size animal:
3.5 mm hook (US E hook)
Approx 20g orange double knit weight yarn
Approx 10g white double knit weight yarn
Approx 10g black double knit weight yarn
Small amount of black yarn for details
Stuffing

For the larger size animal:
5 mm hook (US H hook)
Approx 30g orange aran weight yarn
Approx 20g white aran weight yarn
Approx 20g black aran weight yarn
Small amount of black yarn for details
Stuffing

• slip stitch
• single crochet (US), double crochet (UK)
