This pattern has been written in the form of Overlay Mosaic Crochet.

I used a 5mm hook and Red Heart Super Saver in Icelandic stripes or second picture i used Red Heart Super Saver (colour one)- 7 x 5oz skeins (1,652 yards) and Colour two - 6 x 7oz skeins (2,184 yards)

The finished blanket, including border measures 52, 3/4 inches x 55 inches (1340mm x 1400mm)

Size will vary depending on yarn and hook you choose to use. i.e. if you use DK and a 4mm hook the blanket will be smaller, but if you choose to use chunky and a 6mm the blanket will be larger.
