You can use any kind of yarn, as long as the hook size matches the chosen yarn!
Cotton or cotton blend yarn would suit best: YarnArt Jeans / Jeans plus / Alize cotton gold – 2-stranded, Alize cotton gold plus, Gazzal Jeans, Gazzal baby cotton and other blend yarn.

• crochet hook of appropriate size, I used 3 mm hook;

• wooden stick for the hanging frame – 50 cm long, approx. 1.5 cm in diameter, you can either buy or find it;

• 18 mm wooden beads – 3 pcs;

• felt for the back side (lining) in matching color 3030 cm;

• sewing thread to sew the lining.

The following stitches are used:
Single crochet, double crochet,increase/decrease stitches, slip stitch; stockinette stitch

The following methods are used:
Crocheting in rounds and turns, starting with a magic ring, making a chain. Tapestry crochet technique. Knotting macrame across the frame, a branch or a stick. Flat square knot. Alternating Square Knots. Simple sewing by hands or using sewing machine.
