Tilda Doll Sarah
Sarah loves to soak up the sun, today she is ready for a day at the beach.
With her Sunhat, towel and beach bag she just needs to find a sheltered spot in which to relax.
Tilda Doll Sarah is knitted flat. She is worked from the head down and the stitches are divided to form the legs. Her arms are knitted separately and are sewn on.
I have included a photo tutorial to show you an easy way to apply Tilde style hair.
This pattern is suitable for confident beginners-
The doll and her accessories use basic shaping. I also explain the SSK stitch for those who may not be familiar with it.
Tilda Sarah is suitable both as a decorative item and as a toy for children to enjoy- If you are making Sarah as a gift for a child, for safety reasons, please make sure you use good quality safety eyes or embroider them as shown in the instructions.
