Tilda Shawl
This pattern was discontinued as of September 1, 2024.
Textured short rows interchange with the self-striping Caron yarn cake in the triangular Tilda Shawl.
The skill level of this pattern is Intermediate/Advanced. The stitches used are rather simple, but the pattern asks for a careful reading.
This is a written pattern in English.
This shawl is designed to use just one Caron “Cakes” yarn cake. Watch the colors change as you work up crochet short rows.
Show off your shawl and be sure to tag it with #TildaShawl on social media.
As gauge is not critical - any weight yarn and a hook that creates a good drape works well for this project (note that measurements will change along). However if you want to use just 1 Caron “Cakes” - make sure to use a hook not larger than 7 mm (K / 6.5 mm hook will work well for this project).
Stitches used:
Ch (chain);
Sl st (slip stitch);
Sc (single crochet);
Hdc (hdc) – worked in back loop (bl) and front loop (fl);
Dc (double crochet);
Tr (treble);
Dtr (double treble);
Puff st (puff stitch).
Notions:
