This is the crochet pattern for the Tiles Waistcoat which can be worn on its own or layered over other tops. The pattern uses a colour chart and tapestry crochet, where the inactive yarn is carried inside the work. The waistcoat has about 5 centimetres of negative ease, so that there is an opening in the front of the waistcoat. It has two strings that can be used to close it.

Materials needed

• 4 (4) 5 (6) 7 (8) 9 skeins of Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/8 in Pistachio (108)
• 4 (4) 5 (6) 7 (8) 9 skeins of Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/8 in French Blue (84)
• A 4mm crochet hook
• A pair of scissors
• A darning needle
• Markers or pins to mark where you want the ties to be
