The Tiliacaea shawl is designed to be adapted to whatever amount of yarn you have on hand by using a bit of math to decide the number of total rows that can be worked. Because specific numbers of pattern repeats are not included in the charts or written instructions, it is essential that you are able to read your knitting and calculate the number of repeats you will need for each row.

I strongly recommend having a scale on hand that is accurate to two decimal places to assist in calculating the number of rows you can complete with your yardage.
