Worked in the round from the brim to the crown, 1 × 1 ribbing flows into a 1 × 1 colorwork motif with increases and decreases that slant the stitches. We recommend choosing two high-contrast colors for the nested motifs.

Needles Sizes 6 (4 mm) and 8 (5 mm): 16” circular (cir) and set of doublepointed (dpn). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge.
