In Tilted Texture, simple textures come together to create an elegant and reversible shawl.

This piece begins with just two stitches and gradually grows into a right triangle. As you knit, you encounter one textured stitch pattern after another. The variety keeps the project interesting, and the stitch patterns are simple, perfect for social or travel knitting.

When Tilted Texture is worn, its lines are tilted on the diagonal, creating a lovely eye-catching effect (and making it look more complicated than it really is).

Although the pattern is written for fingering-weight yarn, sport or even dk-weight yarn on larger needles would be beautiful, too. Just allow yourself extra yardage and expect your shawl to be larger in size.

So choose a pretty solid or semi-solid yarn that will show off the variety of textures, and enjoy watching this stylish shawl emerge beneath your fingertips!

A little something extra: When you purchase this pattern, you will also have access to a bonus version, Striped Tilted Texture. This version of the pattern combines three beautiful colors to really make the different sections pop. (But please note that only the solid version is perfectly reversible.) Striped Tilted Texture is shown here in Expression Fiber Arts Crema Sock in the Resolute Hues set of three 350 yd/320 m skeins.
