Tilting at Cables
This pattern is available as a
free Ravelry download
Sure, you could knit a hat with a simple 6-stitch cable going straight up from brim to crown. But what if you add some increases and decreases to create a bias panel and move the cable up at an angle? Why, then you’d be tilting at cables, of course!
This hat combines 2x2 ribbing on the bias with a cable panel that appears to travel the opposite direction of the ribbing for a fun visual effect. It knits up quickly and is super stretchy for easy fit. You can adjust the size by how many cable repeats you knit, to create a shorter or longer hat.
