Packs of wolves don’t stay in one place for long, and are known to travel as far as 12 miles per day.

Timber Wolf is a pattern that will keep you wondering what comes next, as it changes from flat to in-the-round knitting, intarsia to straight stockinette, and double strand to single strand of yarn. Even the needle size changes in this pattern! But the end result is something you can be proud of, and if you listen closely you just may hear it howl.

Your wolf will be 16” long from nose to tail, and 4” wide.

Learn more about this wonderful animal and 24 others when you read the pages of a naturalist as she travels the world, documenting the animals she sees, and designing knitting patterns for each one. This book was a collaboration with my children who did the artwork.
