This over-sized scarf has cushy garter stitch framed by alternating edges of stockinette and reverse stockinette.

Instructions are given for knitting in worsted or bulky yarn.

Gauge
Worsted version: 19 stitches in 4 inches of garter stitch
Bulky version: 12 stitches in 4 inches of garter stitch

Approximate measurements
13” across and 60” long for the worsted version with the given yardage
13” across and 64” long for the bulky version with the given yardage

Materials
660 yards of worsted-weight yarn or 440 yards of bulky-weight yarn – samples were knit in Miss Babs Cupcake (89% merino/11% acrylic worsted) and Cascade 220 Grande Superwash (100% wool bulky)
US 6/4 mm needles or size needed to obtain gauge for the worsted version
US 11/8 mm needles or size needed to obtain gauge for the bulky version
