This pattern is named after Timberline Lodge on Mt. Hood. The garter stitch gives it texture the cables keep it interesting to knit.

This sweater is super stretchy, and is worked bottom-up in the round to the armholes, then is worked flat for the remainder of the front and back. The arms are knit separately in the round and seamed to the body.
