Time Drift Scarf incorporates cable patterns to simulate the shimmering ripples on the surface of flowing water, creating a sense of fluidity.

The scarf starts with a 1x1 ribbing cast-on, followed by an all-over cable motif and finished with a sewn bind-off.

The sample was worked flat with 3 strands of lace yarn. You can also use a single strand of DK yarn for this project. The length of the scarf can be adjusted freely based on the amount of yarn available.

Size
17cm 6.8” in width, length can be customized. The shown sample is 180cm 72” in length.

Yarns
The sample was knitted with 1 strand of Rot & Weiss Plateau-Meringue (490m/50g, 95% Extra fine merino, 5% cashmere), held with 1 strand of Rot & Weiss Pasture-Snow (350m/50g, 60% merino, 40% cotton) and 1 strand of Holst Garn Titicaca-Ecru (400m/50g, 100% Alpaca); I used 2 balls of each yarn.

You can also use a single strand of DK yarn for this project.
