This textural pattern evolves over time as diagonal stripes fade in and out on a background of garter stitch. Perfect for gradients and solid colors!
This asymmetrical triangular shawl is worked from one tip to the opposite side, making it very flexible for using up all one’s yarn (instructions are included for customizing the shawl’s length). The right side rows are worked largely in stockinette as rest rows, while the patterning is created on the wrong side with purl stitches.
Gauge is not critical for this pattern, but using a different yarn weight or needle size will affect the size of the finished shawl.
All instructions are both written and charted.
