Special Notes on Construction and Gauge:
There are three things to remember when making this coin purse.

First, check your clasps. These directions are only for the clasps that have open sides. The type that has rounded corners would use different instructions.

Second, measure your clasp. When checking your gauge, you only want about one or two stitches to over hang each side. Too big will mean things fall out, to small and the sides won’t attach correctly.

Third, depending on your gauge, you may need to adjust the stitch directions. I tend to knit loosely, so I had to guess and check a few times before I found the right number of cast on stitches that worked for my clasps and side pieces.
