Time for School ~ designed to fit 18” dolls & 19.5” dolls

A five piece knitted school ensemble consisting of a short sleeved blouse with collar, v neck cardigan, pleated skirt, duffle coat with detachable hood and satchel. The entire outfit is knitted flat using double knit yarn and 4mm needles.

The blouse and cardigan are knitted sleeves first and then the front and back worked in one piece up to the armholes. The top section is worked as one piece with raglan shaping. The duffle coat is knitted in one piece up to the armholes and then completed separately with set in sleeves. The armhole and sleeves of the cardigan and duffle coat are designed to be slightly bigger to accommodate the clothing underneath. The hood of the duffle coat is knitted as a separate piece and attached with buttons below the collar.

The pattern is written in two sizes. The larger sized modelled by 18” Rebekah uses approx 190g Double knit yarn (blouse 24g, skirt 28g cardigan 36g, duffle coat without hood 70g, duffle coat hood 17g, satchel 15g)

The smaller size modelled by 18” JG Kelsey® and 19.5” Sarah Hannah uses approx 177 grams double knit yarn (blouse 21g, skirt 25g, cardigan 34g, duffle coat without hood 68g, duffle coat hood 14 g, satchel 15g)

Tension (Gauge)
6 stitches, 8 rows on 4mm needles using double knit yarn to 1 inch over stocking stitch

19.5” Gotz® Sarah/Hannah doll – (Chest 24.5cm, Waist 23.5cm, Hips 26.5cm, head circumference 11”).

18” Journey Girls Kelsey® (Chest 25cm, Waist 25.5cm, Hips 26.5cm)
