Spring is the best time of the year! The ground is waking up, flowers start to bloom and there is a fresh sweet scent in the air.

But this shawl was inspired by my own children and Emma & Aspen over at Emma’s Yarn. Watching them all chase their dreams, explore new pathways, finding success, building ideas into reality, and discovering what they enjoy most and what really makes them happy is so inspiring to watch. It really is their Time To Bloom!!!!

You will need:

Yarn: Emma’s Yarn Super Silky (80% Superwash Merino/20% silk, 400yards/100grams)
Color One (C1): Whisper 350 yards Color Two (C2): Don’t Call Me Peaches 200 yards
Color Three (C3): Cactus Flower- 175 yards Color Four (C4): Yellow Submarine 175 yards

Needles: US 4/3.5mm, 24” or 32” circular needles & 6/4.0mm needle for bind off.

Notions: 1 Stitch Marker, T-pins and blocking wires for blocking

Gauge: 24 sts = 4 inches in garter stitch after blocking. Although gauge is not crucial for this project, it will affect the finished size and yarn requirements. A looser gauge will result in the use of more yarn.

Finished Size: 23” deep x 78” tip to tip after blocking.
