Time Warp
Time Warp is a blanket that is crocheted in the round from the center out. Carefully placed increases create an octagonal shape with unequal sides and angles that converge in the center like a wormhole. It is easy to hook with a 1,334 yards of DK weight yarn and a size H (5mm) crochet hook for a blanket measuring 39” long x 36.5” wide. Make it larger with more yarn or a baby size with 900 yards of DK weight yarn. This is a good project for a yarn with a long color run or to use up leftover and partial skeins of yarn. Use a different weight of yarn with a hook size recommended by the yarn label. The yarn weight, hook size, and the amount of yarn you have will determine the final size of the blanket. The three page pattern has round instructions and a crochet chart.
