INTRO

Timeless Simplicity classic cardi is an easy top down & seamless construction cardigan that is knit back and forth . A few row of short row are used to form a better fit neckline.

This pattern include a crop body length cardigan & also a normal half hip body length. A few selection of sleeve length with shaping are also included in the pattern. You can choose from short sleeve , ¾ sleeve , long sleeve or any length sleeve you want.

There’ s guide on how you can custom the sleeve length. I’ve included in a few simple motif on the front panel of the cardigan for those that love doing motif knitting. Enjoy….

YARN USED

I”ve use silky cotton @javafiberwork for the sample of this project. Silky cotton is a cotton, polyamid & silk blended yarn ( sports weight yarn ) in which you can use 3-3.5mm size needle. It’s a 50 grm / ball yarn with around 135mtr / ball.

Another recommended yarn to use is Kartopu baby natural. Baby natural is a 100 grm / ball yarn with around 200mtr / ball. You can also use any sports weight yarn that is available to you.

Xs – m 6 roll of silky cotton @javafiberwork / 3 roll of baby natural @kartopu. ( ¾ length sleeve with crop length body )

L 8 roll of silky cotton @javafiberwork / 4 roll of baby natural @kartopu ( ¾ length sleeve with crop length body )

Xl 9 roll of silky cotton @javafiberwork / 5 roll of baby natural @kartopu ( ¾ length sleeve with crop length body )

Xxl 10 roll of silky cotton @javafiberwork / 5-6 roll of baby natural @kartopu ( ¾ length sleeve with crop length body )

Xxxl 11 roll of silky cotton @javafiberwork / 6 roll of baby natural @kartopu ( ¾ length sleeve with crop length body )

TOOLS

You will need 3mm or 3.5mm ( for tight knitter ) circular needle with 60cm up for whole body

3mm circular needle with 25cm length or 100cm up length ( for magic loop ) or dpn ( double pointed needle ) for sleeve.

You will also need 2pcs ring marker ( 1 colour) as border marker, 2 pcs ( 1 colour) as motif marker, 4pcs ( 1 colour) as raglan marker & 1 pc ( 1 colour ) locking stitch marker as center back marker
wool needle / tapestry needle, scissors, lots of button for cardigan, scrap yarn.
