• Timeless Saturdays Sweater Kids Version - It’s just what you need to keep your little one warm on a rainy Saturday. This pattern is available in 6 sizes and the download includes 2 different versions for the kids sweater; one for a cropped length and one for a classic length sweater.

This pattern has been tech edited, written in metric and imperial units and color coded for ease.

Sizes available: 1-2 yrs, 3-4 yrs, 5-6 yrs, 7-8 yrs, 9-10 yrs and 11-12 yrs.

This sweater is knit in stockinette stitch and accented with some of my favourite and easy to make cables! The yarn for this project is a BFL Silk yarn and it is utterly soft, just like you want silk to feel. It is a DK weight yarn, and we are using 5mm needles as the combination of the two give allure to the drape of Timeless Saturdays! Depending on where you live, you will want to wear this sweater for all seasons of the year. I am in the Okanagan area, and I wear it even on those rare chilly summer August nights!
This pattern uses a 3 needle bind off for the shoulders, but you can also use a regular bind off if you prefer it.
