“People assume that time is a strict progression of cause to affect, but actually, from a non-linear, non subjective point of view it is more like a big ball of wibbily wobbly timey wimey…stuff”
I was rather late to the Dr. Who fandom. I only started watching it during Christopher Eccleston’s time as the Ninth Doctor. I remember being quite miffed when the Doctor regenerated at the end of that series and thinking “who the heck is this guy” when I first saw David Tennant as the Tenth Doctor. Little did I know what a special place the he and the entire show would hold in my heart.
So, when I saw this yarn, called “Time Lords” at the 2018 Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival, I knew that I had to have it. I knew just what I wanted it to be but it took some time to get there…or maybe it didn’t and I’m just stuck with a linear, subjective point of view. Regardless, it’s here with all of its wibbily, wobbly…stuff! The shawl starts off with plenty of garter rows, broken up by bands of eyelets. Just when you get a little comfortable with the predictability of it, it breaks into a swirly lace pattern with a picot bind off to complete the edge. It’s a fun and interesting knit and I hope that you enjoy it!
