Tin Can Sailor
The Tin Can Sailor is a rope-cable blanket split by a patterned section that highlights anchors and waves. Sized at 22 x 30 blocked, it is perfect as a stroller or a napping-anywhere baby blanket. It can be made larger with a heavier weight yarn and larger needles. The sample was knit with three skeins of Cosette.
It was designed for the first grandson of my dear friend who was a Tin Can Sailor in WWII.
