Tinmin: If I Only Hat a Heart.

The Backstory:

“Tinmin” was designed for Hub City Fiber’s trunk show at Knitty City, 12/8/18.

It’s no wonder this hat has become one of my most worn. It’s a simple ribbing repeat that creates a surprisingly reversible fabric. When you’re done and turn the hat inside out, it’s practically magic.

Multiple fits and styles are listed in the pattern. I knit the Adult Large Standard Beanie, which I wear mostly like a Fisherman’s Cap. Inspired by the Tinman in “The Wizard of Oz”, the design premiered for Lillian’s trunk show at Knitty City.

Knit the small size in DK for an Adult Medium/Large sized beanie!

The Needs:

1 skein of Hub City Fibers Merino/Cashmere/Nylon, 400yds/100g. Sample in “Navajo Turquoise”.
