Tinok Bib
The Tinok Bib and Burp Cloth are designs dreamed up when I found myself wanting to knit a special handmade gift for a new addition to our family … but pressed for time, as always. The little ones are always the most knit-worthy, and I’ve always felt that handmade gifts truly are the best gifts to give.
The simple repeat of knits and purls is easy to memorize, and the construction of the bib is easy to follow. The set makes for great social knitting and can be enjoyed by a beginner knitter since it only uses basic stitches.
The word Tinok means baby in Hebrew, and it brings to mind fond memories of the preschool I attended with the same name. I recently stumbled across a preschool class photo, and was pleasantly surprised to see just how many of those classmates I’ve been able to remain connected to through the magic of social media!
