Beginners don’t need to have mastered the magic circle before crocheting this cute little amigurumi tree but you will need to know how to chain, work into a foundation chain, as well as the single crochet and half double crochet stitches.

Tinsel has been made using the crossed single crochet (x-sc) stitch but you can use a regular single crochet throughout instead.

To complete Tinsel you’ll need:

Worsted weight yarn in green and brown
Size F (3.75 mm) crochet hook (or larger hook if you’re a beginner)
7.5mm black safety eyes
Polyester (or other) stuffing
Yarn needle
Beads as ornaments (optional)
