Tiny Bavarian Twistiness
The proceedings of this pattern will be used to buy materials for tiny crafted gifts to hand out to gravely sick children in hospitals.
During a hike, my BFF saw a pair of tiny socks on the backpack of an elderly gentleman, and asked for a pair of tiny socks for her birthday. Here it is, and I want to thank Meg, aka meg2cats on ravelry, for her creativity in naming this sock, when she asked for a tiny toe-up Bavarian Twistiness sock for a KAL.
Toe-up, a tiny pattern with Bavarian Twisted stitches on the front and twisted ribbing on the back, with gusset increases and faux heel flap, ending in a little fold-over cuff - you can find every detail of a normal sized sock in this tiny version.
Size depends on your choice of yarn. The sample was worked using light fingering sock yarn and 2mm needles, foot length is 5 cm (2 inches), leg length with folded cuff is 6 cm (2.4 inches).
You can use a crocheted cord to attach the tiny sock to a keyring.
