Tiny Bubbles Scrubby
Supplies needed to complete project:
about 50-60 yards of worsted weight cotton yarn
equal amount of size 10 crochet cotton (optional)
size G-6 (4.0 mm) crochet hook
smaller hook or yarn needle for weaving in ends
stitch marker or length of scrap yarn (optional)
The finished example measures 3 3/4” x 5 1/2” x 3/4”.
This is a great alternative to all those synthetic kitchen sponges that we use for a couple of weeks then throw away. Use it in the shower or bath to replace a washcloth. Although the example doesn’t show it, a basic hanging loop is included in the pattern.
This simple pattern is worked using basic stitches. The pictured example was crocheted using Lily Sugar ‘n Cream worsted weight cotton yarn held together with a size 10 cotton thread to give it extra texture.
