Tiny Flower Buttons
These buttons are inspired by flowers and combine knitting and embroidery to great effect.
They make an ideal project for using up precious ends of yarn - you could even turn one into a brooch to wear with your most-loved sweater.
Note:
This pattern is currently only available to attendees of Dee Hardwicke colourwork design workshops.
Needles & accessories
1 pair of 3.25mm (US 3) straight knitting needles
29mm/ 1.25in self-cover button
Darning needle
Finished measurements
Approx 4cm x 4cm/ 1.5in x 1.5in
Yarn used:
Rowan Felted Tweed
Approx 4m/ 5yds per button in any shade
Plus oddment in contrast colour for flower.
