To make this pattern you will need:

  • Embroidery thread ( Light Grey, White ) and 0.5 mm crochet hook ( Crochet Koala with tight stitches to avoid small holes )
  • Small Black embroidery to sew nose
  • Micro Plastic eyes
  • Polyfil ( Fill Koala rather tight to have a best shape Koala )
  • Stitch marker or a small yarn to mark the ending of the round. Move it after finish each round. Each round is worked in a continuous spiral. Do not join rounds with slip stitch or turn unless stated otherwise
  • Small wooden stick for filling
  • Sewing needle.
  • Wire 0.5mm thick. Scissors and steel brush

Abbreviations:

  • MR: Magic Ring ( Crochet 6 sc in a ring )
  • ch: chain
  • sc: single crochet
  • sl st: slip stitch
  • inc: increase – work two single crochet in a loop
  • dec: decrease – single crochet 2 stitches together
  • hdc: half double crochet
  • dc: double crochet
  • turn: turn the work and crochet to the oppossite side
  • ( ) : number of stitches for each round
