Tiny Left Overs
Many knitters find that they have tons of fingering weight yarn in their stash because sock yarn really doesn’t count as stash… right? If socks are not your plan now, check out this pattern option for using up all those part balls of sock and fingering weight yarn.
This babies jacket is for approx up to 9 months old. There is a list of yarns that I used in the pattern, but that is just a guide as any fingering, lightweight yarn will work.
The pattern is worked in Size 3 (US), 3.25 mm, or 10 (UK) knitting needles, from the bottom up in one piece. Guage is approx 7-8sts peer 2.5cm / 1 inch. Buttoned at top of yoke with 2 buttons and finished with a square collar. Long sleeved and in an easy zig-zag pattern it knits up quickly and looks wonderful.
