Tiny Mermaid
“Darwin may have been quite correct in his theory that man descended from the apes of the forest, but surely woman rose from the frothy sea, as resplendent as Aphrodite on her scalloped chariot.”

And am always looking for small quick projects to make up and leave around town for others to find. Just like the painted rock concept.
The sample was made with embroidery floss. It took about 2 hanks to make her body. and 1 for the tail.
The hair is #4 weight acrylic yarn, separated into 4 strands. Knotted through the stitches on her scalp, them brushed to make it fuzzy.
You can use any weight yarn or thread you like. thicker yarn and a larger hook will make a larger doll.
