Tiny Possum
Possums are a fact of life on my farm. These stinkers like to steal the eggs our chickens lay! But not this tiny possum: she could fit inside an egg! Possums are the only marsupial found north of Mexico in North America, and that’s pretty neat! This pattern takes a tiny amount of yarn and works up fast. The legs are fiddly, but worth it for the cuteness of your finished possum! If you want fewer ends to weave you could leave off the pink feet, but I felt like it really elevated the possum vibes. Knit up a herd of possums and enjoy their lifestyle: Fake your death! Be free!
Yarns:
• Grey fingering weight yarn (25 yds)
• White fingering weight yarn (25 yds)
• Pink fingering weight yarn (5 yds)
• Black fingering weight yarn (10 yds)
A note about yarns: You are welcome to use whatever yarn you desire, just adjust needle sizes accordingly. Larger yarn and needles will result in a larger finished object. Select yarn and needles that allow you to make tight stitches that your stuffing will not poke through.
