Tiny Snake
This small, sweet snake is the perfect companion for adventurers of any size. He is perfectly content to curl up on a pillow or hang out on a desk, and he makes a great crocheting companion, wrapped around your hook. He can be posable if wire is added. He can be any size, depending on your hook size and gauge, but mine are both less than a foot long.
This pattern has not been tested, but I have done my very best to make sure it is accurate and easy to follow. To make this tiny snake you will need:
Yarn - any weight or thickness will do, and this snake can be worked up with the tiniest scraps of leftover yarn.
Hook - I used a D hook, which is 3 - 3.125 mm, but any size hook will do, depending on your yarn weight.
Wire - 15 gauge aluminum craft wire or a thinner wire doubled over.
Eyes - 6 - 8 mm safety eyes, or small black beads.
Polyfill stuffing is optional; my green snake was not stuffed at all.
Tapestry needle for assembly and weaving in ends.
Thank you so much for taking the time to check out my pattern! I hope that you really enjoy making this snake!
