This adorable little lacy snowflake will add charm to any tree, tall or small.

I have made 2 versions of this snowflake. Snowflake 1A is slightly larger and a bit spikier. Snowflake 1B is a bit smaller, and will also make a cute shape with simple wet blocking if you prefer.

Finished size: 2 to 3 inch diameter.

Materials Needed:
Any 100% mercerized cotton thread, less than 15 yards
- size 20 recommended
- size 10 also works
Fabric stiffener
Blocking surface
Straight rustproof pins
Optional -- iridescent glitter

Hook:
- Anywhere from 1.25mm - 1.4mm for thread size 20
- Anywhere between 1.4mm - 1.75mm for thread size 10)
