My knitting friends have been excitedly waiting for this pattern… They say it’s one of my cutest creations so far! I can’t wait for you to download and get started! It’s such a quick knit, you may even be ready to post photos of your own snowman tonight!

This “Tiny Snowman” sits about 2 3/4 inches tall (7 cm) and has a 2¢ penny base to keep him weighted down and standing upright. He’s got an optional loop at the top of his head for attaching him to gifts, hanging him on the Christmas Tree or dangling him on the review mirror.

You may choose to add a face with beads or embroidery floss for personality. Or you can monogram his belly for a personal touch. Either way I know you’ll be pleased with your finished product. And you’ll be making many more. (just a warning… you may be asked to make one for every person who sees him! lol)

Everybody loves how cute this little guy is. What a great way to say, “Season’s Greetings”, to family and friends this year!

This pattern is worked in the round on double pointed needles (DPNs) or a 32” circular needle. The example is made with Berroco Vintage worsted yarn on size US 5 (3.75 mm) needles.

  • For best results work stitches tightly *
