Yarn: 75% wool, 25% polyamide; 205 m/ 50 g.
Knitting needles: 5 DPNs – 2.5 mm (US 1.5).
Gauge (stockinette stitch – worked in the round, washed and NOT blocked): 5 cm = 16 sts, 5 cm = 13 r.
Further tools: tapestry needle, scissors, row counter and stitch markers (optional).

Required knowledge/ skills: one of the following cast-ons - Figure Eight Cast-On, Judy’s Magic Cast-On, Aggie’s Simple Cast-On or Turkish Cast-On; k, p, p2tog tbl, kfb, k2tog, stretchy cast-off (s. Useful Sources).

Suggestions:
• You can modify the length of the foot by knitting more or less rows of the foot (the rows before the heel) than suggested.
• You can modify the length of the leg by knitting more or less rows of the leg (the rows after the heel) than suggested.
